Fitted out with high standard cardiovascular and strength equipment, the clinic provides access to everything you need to reach your goals. All practitioners are qualified with university degrees to ensure optimal exercise prescription with appropriate consideration of any personal circumstances.

    The use of evidence-based exercise programs for the prevention and management of chronic health conditions and musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation.

  • LYMPHOEDEMA CARE

    PEP Movement is proud to provide an early surveillance and treatment centre for lymphoedema care. Offering patient and carer education, lymphatic massage, compression bandaging, compression garment measure and fitting and exercise therapy.

  • GROUP CLASSES

    Come and get your exercises done with a group of like-minded individuals who share your goals around health and wellbeing. All classes are guided by either an exercise physiologist or physiotherapist and aim to target specific goals in each class.

FAQs

  • If you are confused between the two, you are not alone. Many aspects of physiotherapy and exercise physiology overlap.

    If you have an acute injury, pain, or no previous diagnosis, please start with a physiotherapy.

    If you have a known condition and are seeking exercise and lifestyle modification, please start with exercise physiology.

    Under the recommendation of your doctor, please follow their guidance.

  • Clinical exercise training (CET) are supervised exercise sessions. Each participant will have an individualised training program based on their personal or rehabilitation goals. CET sessions will take place in groups of up to 6 people.

    Group classes are also run by an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist, with all participants following the same program tailored to the goals of the group. Typically these classes will have common age group or injury area such as Knees-to-Toes for injuries of the leg and ankle or Young Gun's for children and adolescents wanting to strengthen themselves prior or during a sporting season.

  • A medical referral is NOT required to see a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist unless you are under a Work Cover claim, Motor Vehicle Accident claim, Department of Veteran Affairs, or are being treated under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program.

    If you are seeking treatment under any of these pathways, please discuss your treatment plan with your GP first.

  • Yes, onsite claiming is available through private health funds, pending your level of cover for physiotherapy and exercise physiology services.

    We also cover treatments under medicare, DVA, Work Cover. Contact us for more information prior to booking your appointment.

  • Our clinic can be accessed from the front via George Street with 1 hour street parking and public transport available - the bus stop is at our door! Otherwise use the Dickson Lane rear entrance for our on-site parking, including a disability spot. A map to the clinic is provided on the Contact Us page.

  • PEP alludes to our combined Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology approach to healthcare. Our staff cover the full spectrum. From acute to chronic, prevention to rehabilitation. Our goal at PEP Movement is to give you quality advice tailored with quality care no matter your condition.
