EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY


Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) specialise in the use of evidence-based exercise programs for the prevention and management of chronic health conditions and musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation.

As defined by the peak governing body Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA);

“Accredited Exercise Physiologists are university qualified allied health professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities.”

Assessment and programming are complimented with individualised education and advice on appropriate physical activity, lifestyle modification and support in adopting behavioural change to promote healthy and active living.
